The world’s population is moved by images daily.
Moving images, drawn or painted images, still images.
Of these, perhaps the most universal is the still photograph.
Like Campaign, great photography has always enjoyed a most special relationship with great advertising and the aim is to celebrate the most beautiful, most disturbing, most eloquent, most communicative of photographic images through Campaign Photo – the awards from the online and offline eyes, ears and voice of advertising in the UK and around the world – Campaign. And these images will be recognised in the way that advertising itself works: by product sector.
Concept
Campaign Photo celebrates the use of professional photography in creative advertising, world wide. Short-listed finalists will be recognised and feted at a gallery exhibition and awards presentation, and in the pages of Campaign and its sister titles. Awards may be made to professional photographers, agency heads of art and creative directors, and picture libraries, as appropriate.
Importantly, the Awards are an unbiased recognition of photographic brilliance each year.
Aims
The Awards will meet the following aims:
- to reward professional standards of photographic excellence
- to recognise new and established professional talent and in-agency creatives
- to celebrate the work of picture libraries and advertising agencies
